As single parents, we wear so many hats. It is obvious we want only the best for out child(ren); insomuch, we sacrifice our own happiness. Let’s highlight some misconceptions about single parents. Single parents
Lack confidence. No, we don’t lack confidence, we lack a solid 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
Prefer isolatation. No, we don’t prefer isolation, we crave quality, deep and meaningful conversations about something other than our kids.
Lack balance. No, we don’t lack balance. We are constantly thinking ahead and anticipating the needs of our child(ren). Consequently, we lack time.
We are lonely. No, we are not lonely. We are alone in many situations, but never lonely. We have little people who constantly need and require our attention.
We do not trust. No, we have the ability to trust. However, we trust those who have proven themselves worthy of it.
