Jesus said,“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongsto such as these.”
-Matthew 24:14
Be sure your future leader partakes in regular readings and the understanding of the Word.
Implement daily bible lessons to increase their faith and believe in something/someone greater than themselves. One example could be to challenge your child to learn the 10 commandments. They can begin to practice the ways to love God and their neighbor, one commandment per week.
Arm them with what they need to make it in this world.
Here is a link that gives an overview of a bible App for you to share with your child(ren). Help them get interested and grow in the Word.
This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalms 118:24).
This is a special day in which we celebrate when Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead. While children paint eggs, make bunny ears and enjoy their Easter baskets, single parents are reminded that Jesus Christ died on the cross so their sins would be forgiven. And, this would ensure they would have everlasting life. Subsequently, today is a perfect day for single parents to remember their inner strength and take time to resurrect, refuel, and revive.
Resurrect – Wake up with a sense of renewal and freshness that brings clarity.
Refuel – Read an inspirational or motivational article or book for encouragement.
Renew – Learn about something interesting, thought provoking and new.
Enjoy this day that the Lord has made. Resurrect, Refuel, Renew and be glad in it.
