Noteworthy Nugget #21 – Keep Keeping On

From one single parent to another,

This new year brings renewed spirits and podiums for positive transformations. Be thankful for another 365 days to embrace the gift of a fresh start. A fresh start to explore and accomplish one’s desired purpose. Purpose gives meaning to life so find it and maximize it until it’s complete.

This year will be YOUR year, your time and your season. This is the year you start that new business venture, write that book, further your education, purchase a new home, plan an international vacation, dye your hair, upgrade your wardrobe or take a cooking class. No matter what it is, just do it. This year is your time to make positive things happen for you and those in your circle.

As single parents, our lives are centered around our child’s schedules and immediate needs. Let this moment serve as a reminder to not waste time or the resources available to you – Use them wisely.

Remember, your children deserve the best you so get to the end of your purpose and enjoy success.

Keep growing! Keep learning! Keep keeping on!

All the best,

Noteworthy Nugget #06 – Patience

Patience is not simply the ability to wait – it’s how we behave while we’re waiting. – Joyce Meyer

As single parents, it is very easy to use single parenthood as an excuse for our shortcomings. However, giving excuses is not an option as we have little people who rely on us.

In the midst of a storm, stand strong, plant your feet, focus on God’s word and he will order and guide your steps.

He knows patience can position you for miracles and waiting on God can be a difficult thing to do.

Don’t breakdown when you’re about to have a break through. Continuously display patience gracefully, purposefully, and obediently. Then, celebrate when he allows you to elevate.
