God has been working on me while he works on you. Our lives are like a canvas being painted with various colors then finally revealing an amazing piece of finished art work.

When God knows we are ready to meet, it will be obvious, real, effortless and refreshing. Your style, patience, honesty and integrity are your Ying to my Yang. Your presence brings me such joy and meaning. You light up my life with a glowing smile. We connect on a level so deep, intertwined and familiar.

We study each other closely to ensure it’s candor. The positive energy is confirmed. We smile and live the rest of our lives together as God planned.

A Lavender Place is a proud single parent of an 11 year old boy who is the inspiration for her blog. Her hope is to provide a platform to support single parents on their journey through parenthood. She has an MA in Organizational Management. Presently, she is working on her second master's degree and teaching 6th grade math in one of Georgia's largest school systems. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, collecting books of all genres, researching new ways to make math engaging and meaningful, making new vegan recipes, exercising, traveling and learning new things.
