A message to my Future Spouse

God has been working on me while he works on you. Our lives are like a canvas being painted with various colors then finally revealing an amazing piece of finished art work.

When God knows we are ready to meet, it will be obvious, real, effortless and refreshing. Your style, patience, honesty and integrity are your Ying to my Yang. Your presence brings me such joy and meaning. You light up my life with a glowing smile. We connect on a level so deep, intertwined and familiar.

We study each other closely to ensure it’s candor. The positive energy is confirmed. We smile and live the rest of our lives together as God planned.

A Single Parents’ Valentine’s Day ðŸ’œ

With February 14th around the corner, we know that single parents have to be creative to enjoy Valentine’s Day.  It may require you to delay it for a more convenient time, celebrate alone, include your children or not celebrate at all. A single parent’s reality is our children come first; therefore the timely celebration may become untimely.  The feeling of wanting to be loved, appreciated, prioritized, and celebrated by someone with flowers, chocolates, a spa day, dinner and a movie, a piece of expensive jewelry, or just a simple meal prepared to our liking seems out of reach.

Instead, turn Valentine’s Day into a day where you show love towards your children. Transfer that energy to your children. Take them to their favorite restaurant, watch a movie, go to an ice-cream parlor, or make their favorite dinner/dessert. No matter what you do, make sure it’s genuine and with a smile. Your kids will enjoy and appreciate the fun memories you’ve created for them.

Stay in the moment and enjoy every minute. Your season is around the corner.
