Christmas Time

Christmas is a time for giving. The kids are excited about opening presents and seeing what items they got from their Christmas list. They’re shaking and shuffling gift boxes and bags while trying to guess what’s inside. Meanwhile, the parent sits back and enjoys the excitement.

Simultaneously, pictures are taken, and moments are captured on video.

Don’t forget to cherish these moments and make them memories. Keep them close to your heart because one day, you’ll be glad you did.

Thankful

It’s 3AM and I sit in my quiet place, I think of all the things I am thankful for (breathe, life, family, friends, a roof over our head and the clothes on my back). Yes, I could complain, wine, sulk, or ask why me Lord, but that wouldn’t be fair. Why? Because God has been so good. He continues to show me how much he loves me. He reminds me that I am a work in progress and must learn from my mistakes. Knowing this, I make a conscious effort to be the best me I can be. And, help others do the same.
